Here are some ways you can get involved with us.

As a "Living Book," you are the central part of our project.
You share your personal story and answer questions in a safer space (a protected space for respectful and unprejudiced encounters).
You help children, teenagers, or adults to question their prejudices.

Your involvement as a "Living Book" is more than just volunteering – it's an enriching experience.
You promote dialogue, actively reduce prejudices, and experience self-efficacy.
Through these encounters, you might also learn how powerful open exchange can be.
If you wish, you will receive compensation for your efforts.

As a volunteer Living Librarian, you support the organizational processes of our “Living Libraries”.
You coordinate the "lending" of the Living Books, accompany the conversations and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
You are an important part of the team that enables encounters on equal terms.
We will provide you with an introduction to your tasks.

Your commitment as a Living Librarian is a valuable asset – for the project and for you.
You are part of an open, committed community and help to reduce prejudice and promote respectful dialogue.
Through your organizational work, you enable inspiring encounters and contribute to ensuring that all participants, such as children and young people at schools or our Living Books, feel comfortable .

As a research intern at the Living Library, you will be involved in reflecting on, reviewing and further developing our work.

By becoming a member of our association, you will become part of a community that actively works to reduce prejudice and promote dialogue between people.
You will be regularly informed about our activities and can contribute your own ideas and perspectives.
You will have the opportunity to participate in members' meetings and, if needed, to get to know and help shape our association's work.
As a member, you support our vision of a prejudice-aware society and help to secure our projects in the long term, also through your membership fee of €5/month.

Your donation helps the "Living Library" to reduce prejudice and promote dialogue between people.
Every contribution helps us to organize events, support "Living Books" and provide new impetus for children, young people and adults to foster an empowering coexistence.
Your donation will be used directly for our projects: from organizing workshops to providing materials for the events.
Every euro contributes to enabling valuable encounters and achieving a lasting impact.
